Why should I even study maths during Transition Year?
With much less emphasis on maths during Transition Year, a lot of students find that their maths gets very rusty during TY. That's no big deal until next year, but then it can be a real struggle to get back into it.
But it doesn't have to be that way! A little bit of revision during the year can keep everything ticking over nicely. That means you have one less thing to worry about when you start 5th year.
Or perhaps you're not quite sure if you're able for Leaving Cert higher, but could do it if you got a bit of help during TY (and don't forget there are now 25 bonus points when you do higher level - definitely worth aiming for!).
Or maybe you just want to get a head start on everyone else, and to get a handle on Project Maths. It's not that bad when you get into it, so have a sneak preview and make it easy on yourself for next year!
